First Judicial Circuit in Action

April 8 was the last day of free meals for school age children. The Clarke County school system started the program to distribute breakfast and lunch last week. The meals were given out at CCHS and Gillmore Elementary. Gov. Ivey's stay at home order prompted a decision to stop the program. Students had received free meals when schools were in session. Some have noted these were the only meals she kids likely received. It was a good effort by the school system, staff and volunteers
